IBE is a language training institute with a continued commitment to teacher training. We are fully aware that language teaching is a complex thing, requiring technical teaching skills and an ability both to interact with many different student types and manage a varying workload throughout the academic year.

For this reason, we believe that the basis of all good teaching is good training. Though certainly not a binding condition to becoming a mother tongue teacher of English as a second language, a teaching certification is definitely a fundamental element.

IBE has therefore created a program called Fidelity Training for those teachers who already have experience in the field and who want to further their training in order to become qualified teachers.

The basic idea of the program is this: IBE will pay for your teacher training course; you join IBE as a teacher for a period of two years.

To be eligible for the program, you have to:

  • be Under 30 years old
  • be English mother tongue
  • have minimum 3 years’ teaching experience


How the program works:

  • You pay for the course fee (about €1700) and complete the full-time teacher training course at TeacherTraining
  • If you complete the course obtaining a minimum “B” grade, IBE will employ you
  • After working for IBE for 24 months, we will reimburse the course fee paid by you.
